After 10 years in corporate life, in the height of a recession, Shalina took the risk and founded her consultancy business with the self-belief that she really could make a  difference in the service sector.

Shalina’s personal drive in developing both trainers and businesses resulted in becoming a Finalist for the Asian Achievers Award Gold Woman of the Year 2010, in recognition for her contribution to the retail sector. Having featured in the London Metro newspaper, local business publications UK wide and BBC Radio, she continues to be invited as a guest speaker, sharing opinion on commercial business topics.

Shalina has trained more than 1500 trainers in the UK network and supported more than 500 businesses ranging in scale from small independents to globally recognised brands. Constantly developing her own brand, Skillsmaze, Shalina has seen the significance benefits of creating new commercial products successfully positioned in the market place for freelance trainers and training providers. She is regarded as one of the UK’s top professional trainers.

Today Shalina creates, designs and writes service programmes for high end brands in the UK and Europe. She believes that to be the best, you have no choice but to give your best – every time.

Jumping in at the deep end with training can be daunting, especially for new mangers building credibility and rapport with their teams. An inspiring, relatable role model can prove such a vital support at this time and Shalina, with her proven success in shaping effective trainers, offers invaluable personal advice that really makes a difference.
